Nong Bua Lam phu - Thailand  Sept 2008

　

　

This is second visit to the sick & abandoned children in the remote village of Thailand. Don't be afraid of them, they are so full of LOVE and energy to live!

Delivering the Jasmine Rice These are the gifts from the Heaven... why be afraid of them?
Preparing for the Party Celebrating the birthday for them once a year from us! The Village is actually a very beautiful place to visit.

"Many cases of PMTCT (Transmission from Mother to children) occurs here and many children need lots of human touch.

...because of the sickness, these children are abandoned by their family, or lost their parents and some cases showed they have been abused...."

Don't be afraid, let them feel the kindness of your face, in your eyes, in your smile, in the warmth of your greeting.

　

　

Oct 2007, I took an inland flight from Bangkok to Udon Thani and then by car to a village called Nong Bua Lamphu,

very near to the border with Laos to stay with the children.

Many of them look just like normal healthy children and the only thing the really need is LOVE.

Thanks for some friendly helps, I could bring some toys, medical supplies and ovaltines to them.

　

　

　

　

A day going with the sister & children to the countryside.

　

　

　

Some need special care, but basically they can go to school as normal children, but sometimes, they get emotional because they know what happen to them and why they are being rejected.

"In the nearly 6 districts near the Nong Bua Lamphu, including Loei, Nongkhai, Udon Thani, Khon Kaen, etc... there are nearly over 130'000 cases, many of them were infected from the cities and families are being affected"

　

　

This is the area the center trying to build a ICU with Oxigen machines.

　

The center has a small farm to grow Coconut & also fishes which help to support the expenses on workers, but donations to maintain the place and support the community is quite needed.
